Bertha Woods retired after 25 years as an elementary and secondary school teacher. She has been actively involved in developing the Taffey Pop Kids program and has contributed to the story line and concept from its inception. She has been instrumental in soliciting input from her educational colleagues and has made invaluable contributions to the clarity and effectiveness of the “message.” As a former School Safety Coordinator, Bertha is intimately familiar with the problems of safeguarding school children. Moreover, as a former Teacher of the Year, Bertha is verifiably competent with the strategies and techniques required to “reach” school children and to help them master new techniques.
